To unlock the two mini campaigns (Dogfight & Bombing) you must beat the main campaign mode. Each mini campaign contains six missions. Once all six are complete, two more aircraft (per mini campaign) are unlocked. In addition, the weapons of the aircraft can be upgraded by completing the two mini campaigns. Flyable Airplanes If you complete the campaign missions with certain rankings you unlock new aircraft after each mission. Simply beating the mission unlocks the first of the two aircraft, while a Veteran Pilot ranking is required to attain the second. The rankings are given with stars, with the maximum number being five and the minimum being one. Three stars are required for a Veteran Pilot ranking.
